For patients and families dealing with serious illness, Arkansas Hospice’s Family of Care provides expert care, where they are. Patients are cared for in their own or a family member’s home, a nursing home, a hospital, an assisted living facility or at one of our Arkansas Hospice inpatient or contracted facilities across our service area. Physical, emotional and spiritual support is provided based on the patient’s wishes and the family’s unique needs.

  • Unintentional weight loss
  • Frequent falls
  • Multiple ER visits/frequent hospitalizations
  • Multiple medications or frequent medication changes
  • Increased shortness of breath
  • Multiple complex medical conditions
  • Recurrent or frequent infection
  • Altered mental status not caused by an acute infection
  • Skin breakdown or non-healing wounds
