Each year at Party at the Plaza, the Arkansas Hospice Foundation presents the Michael V. Aureli Compass Award to an individual who embodies the true nature of a hospice heart, and whose involvement has resulted in furthering the success of our important work.

This year, the Arkansas Hospice Foundation is pleased to announce Bruce Holsted as the recipient of the 2024 Michael V. Aureli Compass Award.

Bruce Holsted and his wife, Becky, have graciously supported Arkansas Hospice and the Arkansas Hospice Foundation since 2007.

A longtime Arkansas Hospice volunteer, Bruce has a true “hospice heart” and brings a sense of calmness, compassion and trust to all he encounters with his work at Arkansas Hospice – whether it’s patients, staff or fellow volunteers. In 2011, he was recognized as Arkansas Hospice’s volunteer of the year for his continued dedication.

In September 2016, Bruce was elected to the Arkansas Hospice Foundation Board of Directors. Bruce has been an officer on the Foundation board since October 2018, and he currently serves as chair emeritus.

Bruce is founder and CEO of Holsted Companies, which specializes in servicing tower and antenna equipment.

Bruce will be recognized with a special video presentation at Party at the Plaza at 4:55 p.m. on April 27th, 2024, at the Argenta Plaza in North Little Rock, AR.

You can join the list of “Friends of Bruce” with a donation of $100 or more in his honor. All “Friends” will be recognized on the Party at the Plaza website and on the jumbo video wall at Party at the Plaza on April 27^th.

Friends of Bruce donations received after 4/24 may not appear on Party at the Plaza video wall due to production deadlines.
