NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas Hospice, the state’s largest non-profit provider of hospice services, held ribbon-cutting celebrations June 7th and 8th in conjunction with open houses for the organization’s new Northwest Arkansas offices in Berryville and Rogers.

Together, the two offices serve patients and families in all or part of Benton, Boone, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Marion, Newton, Searcy and Washington counties.

Arkansas Hospice President and CEO Judy Wooten, Regional Director of Operations Tim Norvell, members of senior management, Communications and Media Manager David Edwards, and Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors from both municipalities presided over the events.

While the locations are new for Arkansas Hospice, the teams at each are already a vital part of the region. As Arkansas Hospice President & CEO Judy Wooten said at the Berryville opening, “You see the folks here in the teal scrubs and the other folks working in this office. They are your family, friends and neighbors and they’re caring for their family, friends and neighbors in this community.” Citing a continuing theme of “Arkansans caring for Arkansans” at the Rogers event, Wooten stressed the importance of Arkansas Hospice’s understanding the benefits of admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout the state’s urban and rural areas.

The mission of Arkansas Hospice is to enhance the quality of life for those facing serious illness and loss by surrounding them with love and embracing them with the best in physical, emotional and spiritual care. With the addition of these area offices, Arkansas Hospice is delivering award-winning services to patients and their families from a total of 10 area offices and 3 inpatient centers, covering a 43-county service area.
